Jr. Gardeners

Alpacas in GrovelandFree for local children ages 3 and up, we provide nature-based activities typically occur during the months of March, April, May, September, October and November. Periodically, we’ll offer “bonus” projects or activities. The Groveland Garden Club’s Jr. Gardeners Program was created to educate and familiarize youngsters with nature and gardening, as well as create awareness of our natural environment through projects, field trips and discussion. These programs are paid for in part by the fundraising the club does a couple of times a year as well as through the generosity of those who donate to our club.

You can be notified of our upcoming events. Just add your name in the body of

  •  Container Gardens

  • Community Gardening/Beautification Projects

The list goes on and on.

We are always looking to expand and improve our programs. This is why we offer the opportunity for children and parents to suggest programs. Any of our members that want to make a suggestion please feel free to contact us.
